Bali is an island home to rich, unique family bonds and culture unlike anywhere else in the world.

Hosting over eight million international visitors in 2023, tourism is the root of Bali’s economy. Beyond that commercialized shell, its storefronts, warungs marketed to the Balinese, and flourishing Hindu-dominant and Muslim faiths create a colorful and dynamic environment.

This past summer, I had the opportunity to photograph every specialized team of the Vancouver Fire Department for the Rosenbauer Group. This was my favourite day of commercial photography so far in my career.

Based in Austria, Rosenbauer is the leading manufacturer of fire trucks and emergency rescue equipment. The Vancouver Fire Department is one of the first rescue services teams in the world to receive an electric EV fire truck.
