London Fashion Week AW25 Street Style: Best of Women's and Unisex

London Fashion Week AW25 has once again delivered a masterclass in personal expression, with street style proving to be just as captivating as the runway shows. From faux fur everywhere to oversized outerwear, shiny leather, and every shade of brown, this season’s women’s wear dominated the catwalk schedule and showcased a blend of timeless elegance and forward-thinking edge.

As a photographer deeply immersed in the intersection of fashion and street photography, I spend my time capturing London’s evolving style landscape—both in and outside of Fashion Week. Each season offers a new take on self-expression, and AW25 was no exception.

Since moving to London as a fashion photographer, I’ve been blown away by the sense of style and individual brands everyone possesses. Coming from Vancouver, Canada, where athleisure on the streets takes centre stage, I’ve come to appreciate the investment Londoners make in statement pieces.

I come from a world of expensive, black Arc’teryx jackets to combat the rain. When Vancouverites invest in quality outwear, it’s almost always black – so that, of course, it goes with everything. In London, however, I love how bold looks and unique colour palettes are ever-present in the wardrobes of London Fashion Week guests and Londoners at large.

Having moved to London last summer, I showed up at fashion week with my camera. I didn’t know anybody. Having come from my photography background of directed lifestyle campaigns, choreographed fashion photoshoots, and then candid street scenes as a personal love, I had never approached strangers on the street. Which is ironic, given that I’ve written a guide on overcoming the awkwardness of street photography.

I arrived at London’s SS25 fashion week in September with just my 28mm pancake lens. It’s a wide lens I use for all my street photos. I quickly learned that, with the fashion week crowds, I had to get in close to get anything of value. Even then, my candid scenes weren’t cutting it for me.

Having pushed myself to approach, compliment, and ask to make a portrait of them, I quickly fell in love with this style. I shared my experiences and street style work in my best of London Fashion Week SS25 women’s street style and best men’s London Fashion Week SS25 street style.

I approached over 150 guests and created work that not only resonated with me, but the guests I had the pleasure of meeting as well. In the time since September’s LFW SS25, some of the strangers have become close friends and photography clients I continue to work with on a regular basis. London Fashion Week was the best networking I could have ever done, having just made the move from Canada.

This time around, I was prepared for London Fashion Week AW25. Not just knowing what to expect and what I wanted from it, but having a close circle of fellow photographers who we travelled around with. We even went to Milan Fashion Week and captured the best MFW AW25 street style the following week.

The 28mm lens style, which originally dictated how I shot London Fashion Week before, is now my favourite lens for the job. In a sea of photographers with long zoom lenses, I was able to get up close and capture intimate angles.

I had the opportunity to photograph these images for Dance Wax: a trend-setting music and fashion platform. It was exciting to validate the work I loved at the intersection of my passions: fashion and street photography. I came to LFW 2025 with a purpose beyond creating street style images for my blog like I had five months prior.

Furthermore, I was asked to photograph a portion of Burberry’s AW25 campaign, #ItsAlwaysBurberryWeather, with Tania Shroff that featured Burberry’s new olive trenchcoat and handbag lineup.

Both Burberry and creating street style images for Dance Wax, all came from stepping outside of my comfort zone and approaching strangers at London Fashion Week.

Needless to say, I’ve found a home in London and documenting London Fashion Week has become a pivotal part of that.

Below are my favourite women’s street style images that I created for Dance Wax during LFW AW25.
