The streets of London during SS25 Fashion Week were buzzing with energy, filled with bold textures, creative layers, and striking menswear looks that demanded attention. It was a showcase of the best in men's and unisex fashion.
As a fashion photographer who’s recently made the move to London, being a part of London Fashion Week SS25 was an experience that affirmed my decision to call this city home. The style, creativity, and connections I made felt like an entry point into the pulse of London’s fashion scene.
Prior to Fashion Week, my work as a fashion photographer had primarily been a mix of directed photoshoots and candid street photography. Approaching strangers for portraits wasn’t something I was accustomed to. But this time, I wanted to challenge myself and get a different perspective. I traded in my usual lens for a 28mm pancake lens—a favourite for street photography but rarely used in fashion portraiture.
With most London Fashion Week photographers depending on zoom lenses to capture the action for their editorials, I aimed for something more intimate. The fixed focal length of the 28mm required me to get close to capture the full scope of outfits and personalities, offering an up-close-and-personal view that few other lenses could provide.
Staying in my comfort zone wasn’t an option, as I often tried to avoid the awkwardness of street photography. I found myself drawn to the most interesting men’s looks from across London Fashion Week, and I had to step up and engage directly. Although I was initially hesitant, the warm reception I received from these style icons made it worth it.
By the end of the week, I had approached over 150 stylish guests, each contributing something fresh to the streets of London. This collection showcases some of the standout men’s and unisex looks from London Fashion Week SS25, offering endless inspiration for your wardrobe and a well-deserved nod to these stylish individuals.
