London Fashion Week AW25 Street Style: Best of Men's and Unisex

London’s menswear scene continues to evolve, and this season’s AW25 street style proves that classic menswear codes are being rewritten in exciting ways – even with women’s wear dominating the fashion show schedule.

From plaid patterns everywhere to boxy fits, draping layers and every shade of brown, the streets of London were filled with dynamic and unexpected looks. As a photographer capturing street style season after season, I always find that the most exciting fashion moments happen outside the shows. LFW AW25 showcased how Londoners and global visitors alike interpret fashion in a way that feels personal, fluid, and effortlessly cool.

Since moving to London as a fashion photographer, I’ve been fascinated by how deeply ingrained style is in the city’s identity. Coming from Vancouver, Canada, where function often trumps form (think technical outerwear and a sea of black Arc’teryx jackets), I’ve gained a whole new appreciation for the way Londoners invest in clothing as a true extension of self.

Back home, outerwear is all about practicality—black goes with everything, and it’s built to last through endless rain. But in London, style is about more than function. Here, coats aren’t just for staying dry; they’re statements. It’s refreshing to see men’s fashion embrace bolder silhouettes, unique textures, and unconventional layering in ways that feel both deliberate and effortless.

Having moved to London last summer, I showed up at fashion week with my camera, knowing no one. My background in lifestyle campaigns and choreographed shoots meant I was comfortable directing a set, but candid street photography had always been a personal passion. Ironically, despite writing a guide on overcoming the awkwardness of street photography, I had never approached strangers to take their portraits.

At London’s SS25 Fashion Week, I arrived with just my 28mm pancake lens—a wide, immersive lens I use for my street photography. I quickly realized that, amid the fashion week crowds, I had to step in closer to create images that stood out. Candid snapshots weren’t enough; I needed to engage with my subjects. So, I started approaching guests, complimenting them, and asking if I could take their portrait. I quickly fell in love with the process, sharing my work in my best of London Fashion Week SS25 women’s street style and best men’s London Fashion Week SS25 street style.

I ended up photographing over 150 guests, creating work that resonated not just with me, but with the people I had the pleasure of meeting. Many of those once-strangers have since become close friends and photography clients I work with regularly. Looking back, London Fashion Week was the best networking I could have done after moving from Canada.

This time, for AW25, I came prepared—not just knowing what to expect, but with a strong network of fellow photographers. We moved through the city together, covering every moment, and even took things a step further by traveling to Milan Fashion Week the following week to capture the best MFW AW25 street style there as well.

The 28mm lens, which initially shaped my approach out of necessity, has since become my signature tool for fashion week. While most photographers opted for long zoom lenses, I stuck with my close-up perspective, capturing intimate, in-the-moment portraits that feel immersive.

This season, I had the opportunity to photograph these images for Dance Wax: a trend-setting music and fashion platform. It was a full-circle moment—validating the work I love at the intersection of fashion and street photography. Unlike last season, where I was focused solely on creating for my blog, this time I arrived at LFW AW25 with a clear purpose.

Beyond Dance Wax, I was also commissioned to photograph a portion of Burberry’s AW25 campaign, #ItsAlwaysBurberryWeather, with Tania Shroff, highlighting Burberry’s latest olive trench coat and handbag collection.

Both of these projects—Burberry and Dance Wax—stemmed from stepping outside my comfort zone and striking up conversations with strangers at London Fashion Week.

Needless to say, I’ve found a home in London, and documenting London Fashion Week has become a pivotal part of that journey.

Below are my favorite men’s street style images that I created for Dance Wax during LFW AW25.
